We think a phone call is still the most honest channel.

Aunbound started as MAYA — an AI voice agent built to make cold calls for B2B sales in India. It grew out of a frustration we kept running into: outreach tools built on American sales scripts fall flat on Indian buyers, and most "AI SDR" pitches confuse a flashy demo with a call that actually works at number four hundred.

Then something unexpected happened. The people we built the dialler for kept asking for something smaller and much more personal: can it call me? Can it wake me up and not let me hang up. Can it check on my mother every evening and tell me if she sounds unwell. Can it ring a tenant about the rent so I don't have to.

So Aunbound became two products on one engine. For businesses: bulk calling — lead lists, candidates, collections, feedback, inbound answering — with every call recorded, transcribed and classified. For everyone else: agents you design yourself, in plain English, that call on a schedule you set and report back what was said.

What we won't do is let it pretend. Every Aunbound call says it's automated, admits it isn't human when asked, and ends when someone asks it to stop. Those rules are wrapped around whatever you write, on every call, and there is no setting that turns them off. An agent that can dial anyone is only worth building if it can be trusted with that.
